Nova Scotia Indigenous Tourism Working Group Established

In early August of 2017, The Nova Scotia Indigenous Tourism Working Group was brought together through regional efforts initiated by Indigenous Tourism of Canada Nova Scotia Representative, Mr. Robert Bernard. As part of the national 5 Year Strategy for the national organization this was part of the mandate and responsibility of each region to establish and push forward towards implementing new regional chapters of the national body.

The Working Group was joined by President and CEO Keith Henry as well as regional coordinator Trina Mather Simard and a number of volunteers from across Mi’kmaw communities of Nova Scotia, all of whom have exceptional cultural and business expertise that would lend to the development of this new organization.
