VISION
The Nova Scotia Indigenous Tourism Enterprise Network (NSITEN) works towards building long-term relationships with Mi’kmaw business owners, artists and crafters, cultural knowledge keepers and of course our community leadership. Together we will increase opportunities and help to grow Indigenous tourism in our traditional Mi’kmaw territories.
We will also work with the mainstream tourism players to help create more cultural awareness about who we are, our authentic cultural practices as well as the real history of this land. We want to work together will all of our partners to increase business opportunities but also cultural revitalization. We believe that through the efforts of our organization we will begin to see our investments in building these very important relationships turn into sustainable investments. We welcome you to join us on this journey!
