Each year our NSITEN organization recognizes individuals, groups and organizations, businesses & departments with outstanding leadership in business, arts, crafts, music, allyship and more!  Our NSITEN Tourism Awards open to all NSITEN Members & Ally Partners.  

If you know an individual, business owner, organization, community business or tourism champion for Indigenous tourism that you would like to recognize in one or more of the categories below, please fill out the necessary information in the forms to help us with our evaluations and selection processes. 

In total there are seven (7) categories, you can nominate more than one individual but you must submit separate forms for each nomination.  You can also self-identify if you would like to be recognized.  There are also awards for youth & Elders as well as volunteer recognition awards.  

1.    New Tourism Business of the Year
2.    Tourism Champion of the Year
3.    Tourism Student of the Year
4.    Artist / Crafter of the Year
5.    Tourism Volunteer of the Year 
6.    Community / Enterprise of the Year
7.    Tourism Business of the Year

Each year we will also recognize an individual, group or business with the Lifetime Achievement Award(s).   All of these criteria are available below for your review.
